Jaroslav Uhlíř arrived at the Theater |
You probably wouldn't trade your childhood with Jaroslav Uhlíř (77). According to Expres, the popular musician was very monotonous. Even back then, music played a major role, so he had to forget about the antics with his peers from Prague's Jahodnica. "While the other boys were playing, he had to sit for hours at the piano and practice," one of the former neighbors of his later partner Zdenek Svěrák (87) told us.
" I often went to the Uhlíres, but Jarda never went to play with the other boys. He had to constantly practice the piano at home. This could be heard all over the area," Jaroslav Uhlíř's former neighborJan Huml told Expres. It's no wonder that the musician didn't have any friends in his childhood, he didn't fit in very well and some of his peers even mocked him! But the years of suffering paid off, and later he showed his long nose to all the "bullies".It is a slightly sad, but very understandable irony that Uhlíř's "steady hand" returned at a blessed age. This time he no longer has to sit for hours at the piano, "only" his caring wife Helena looks after him.
Since the incident when he "went missing" in the summer of 2020, he has not moved a step away from him. She follows him to all the events where the musician goes, and just to be sure, she doesn't leave him alone even for a moment, what if he takes off again and disappears. Maybe to the rehearsal room...
" He was here at the weekend too. He seemed perfectly fine. His head works one hundred percent. He always comes by taxi and is here because he is at peace here," a man who introduced himself to us as the owner of the house where the "sewing shop" was located told Expres after Jaroslav Uhlíř's disappearance, his name was even on the doorbell.
